Fall Break

Like most people, I went home for fall break. Living 30 minutes away has its perks from time to time. Fall break was really needed; during the last week here, I felt drained from all the schoolwork and found myself unmotivated. Unfortunately, many classes schedule exams the week before fall break as a sort of send-off. Pairing that with my lack of motivation did not mix well. I am pretty sure I bombed at least one of my exams, and I'm not excited to hear my results tomorrow. I was ready to pack up and leave as early as I could on Friday.

I arrived home and immediately lay in bed. My classes aren’t hard this semester, but for some reason, I am just struggling. I was ready to return to school, but something seems off this year, giving off a weird vibe. I spent most of my break relaxing, either playing video games or watching a show. Ohio Northern's fall break was later than that of all my friends, so sadly, I was unable to spend any time with them. Luckily, the new season of Outer Banks came out a couple of days before break, which kept me busy for one day. Most of my family was sick, so they stayed home on Monday and Tuesday. Hopefully, I did not catch what they had, but so far, I feel okay. I spent the weekend watching a lot of football. Sadly, Ohio State fell to Oregon on Saturday night, which was disappointing. They made a ton of mistakes and looked sloppy; while I don't think they need to worry, there is plenty for them to fix. The Steelers managed to get a win on Sunday, which made my football experience a little better. It was nice to see my brothers, even though they didn’t feel well, so I did not get the chance to do anything with them.

My fall break was uneventful, but it was a much-needed break. At the end of the day, it came at the right time and provided me with the opportunity to just hang out—what more could you really ask for? PRSSA is also in California, which seemed like an amazing trip, I hope they are enjoying it!
