Last Blog

    Well, here I am again. I think last semester I assumed it was my last blog ever so I had a sign off, and I was wrong. I spent this last semester talking about my life and telling stories once again, except something felt different. 

     To start, we only had one a week and none about a book we read so I only talked about my life. It's a bit sad because blogging this year showed me much that has changed in my life here at Ohio Northern. Last year I would have endless things to talk about as my friends and I were always getting ourselves into crazy situations and activities. But that didn't happen this year. We kind of grew apart as people and so did the friendships I had made last year. While I am sitting here acting like I haven't spoken to any of them that's just not true. But I found peace in hanging out alone. I think I tried so hard last year to keep myself busy because I never wanted to sit in my room but this year all of that changed. I am okay with just hanging out and watching my shows enjoying my free time. 

    I am going to take this last bit to talk about my weekend because it was pretty fun. Friday, I went home to hang out with my hometown friends. We played this virtual reality boxing game, and let me tell you, if you are looking for a nice workout that is the thing to do. After two matches my friends and I were soaked. Saturday rolled around and I laid down all day and geared up to go back home with my friends again. It was UFC fight night so it's like our new tradition to watch them on Saturday night and we ended up boxing again and having a tournament to make it more interesting. Sunday was just a hang around the house day and gear up for this dead week.

    School this week has been suffocating me, I thought it was supposed to be relaxed to get ready for finals but I was wrong. I've had two presentations along with bigger assignments all due this week. The nice thing about it though is once these presentations and assignments are done, I am done with those classes. I only have two finals and will be out of here Tuesday which will be nice.

    Overall, this semester was filled with adversity and taught me a lot. I'm glad it is almost over and I am excited to get a break and come back fresh in 2025!
